HAPPY BIRTHDAY DIEGO!! January 30, 2009
Diego celebrated his Sixth Birthday today.
Finally, after a long month of Diego counting everyday, how many days to his birthday, the day finally arrived. When he came downstairs in the morning, he was surprised with a new bicycle. He was so excited, and was grinning from ear to ear. Mommy drove Diego to school today, so he wouldn’t have to carry his birthday cupcakes on the bus. He was so proud to carry those cupcakes into the school. Mommy was just worried that he was going to drop them. Each cupcake had a Spiderman ring on it.
For dinner, we went to Pizza Hut and then headed over to the YMCA for their bouncy house night. It is a once a month event where the boys can run and play, and wear off all the extra energy.
After we returned home, we had Diego’s birthday cake. Mommy decorated a Spiderman Cake for Diego. We lit the candles, and ate the yummy cake.
It was a great 6th Birthday. His first of many birthdays to be celebrated in the United States.

Hi Joyce, it is Shalice. I have not been able to see this in some time, but I wanted to say that I am really happy for you and your family and think what you and your husband have done is absolutely wonderful. The boys looks so happy. Only love can produce those types of smiles, good for them and good for you guys!!!!

Sounds like your house is busy as usual! Sweet pictures and updates...so glad that I just happened to check the website again. It was fun to hear from our friends, the Jaenisch's, about how you guys are all doing there. How wonderful that you got a chance to meet! Sounded like you all had a really nice time. Hopefully we can meet you one day too (maybe at the LSS picnic??)...I'm sure our little boys would have lots of fun together! :)
