As we wait, we have been reading books on adoption, and also trying to learn some Spanish. We have purchased a Spanish CD to listen to in our vehicle, a book of Spanish phrases, a Spanish software program, and a Spanish dictionary. We have learned some words in Spanish, but putting them together in sentences is the challenging part.

We have also completed as much as we can in the child's room. We painted it "Bibbidy, Bobbidy Blue". We also purchased a set of bunk beds, and Eric sanded them completely and restained them. We decided on bunk beds, in the hopeful case, that we receive a referral of 2 children. We will then be prepared for both of them. There are no decorations in the room, as we don't know the age or gender of the child. As well, we are not able to purchase any clothing, age appropriate toys and other child necessities until we know more about the child(ren).

As we continue to wait, we welcome a few prayers, that we will soon receive a referral for our child (or two)!
