La Piscina "The boys love the Pool"

We are happy to report that today was actually a great day! The boys were very good.

We spent much of the day at the pool at Jose's house. The subdivision that he lives in has a beautiful pool, along with a small children's pool. It was perfect for the boys. They love water!
Joyce was having them blow bubbles, and do lots of kicking. For the parents peace of mind, we also had them wear those water wings for safety.

. I am not really sure that these things do any thing other than ease the parent's minds. The water was very shallow, so the boys loved it. Joyce also loved being in the water, as it was allowing her to soak up some sun!

As all of Jeferson's clothes is "grande" on him, it would only be expected that his swimsuit that we brought for him is also too big. In fact, the poor boy struggled all day just to keep his little butt covered. We decided that we would go to the store and buy him a new one. So, after a full afternoon of swimming, we walked to the store. We find children's clothing here very expensive. We did find a swimsuit for Jeferson, along with a few other outfits for him. The weather in Bucaramanga is so much different than it was in Bogota, so we thought the clothing we had for the boys would be sufficient. However, since it is so much warmer here, we needed some warm weather clothing.

After a short shopping trip, we decided to have dinner at the mall, and then we visited a small play area where the boys could get rid of any energy they had left after swimming all day. The boys loved it!

We returned back to the hotel, and we all enjoyed some popcorn as a snack before bedtime. The boys were so tired, that they enjoyed a little television, but fell asleep while watching it. It was refreshing to see that they can be good children. They really are sweet boys. Eric picked up Diego to put him into his bed, after falling asleep in front of the TV. While he was carrying him to his bed, Diego woke up momentarily, looked at Papi, and said "Te Amo Papi" and then went back to sleep. It brought tears to Papi's eye.

We are really enjoying Bucaramanga. It seems to be a little more modern of a city than Bogota. The mountains that surround the city are absolutely gorgeous. The landscape that surrounds us displays layers of mountains. There is so much to look at.
We look forward to seeing more of the area.

We have not heard anything more about the judges being on strike, so we are not sure what the status of that is. We hope that it will end soon, to avoid any delay in the court process, and possibly increase our length of stay in Colombia. We are anxious to get home.
