Travel Dates!!!!

Last Friday, July 25 th, we received the approval to make our travel arrangements to Colombia!! It seems like this has taken 'forever'. Over the weekend, we purchased our airline tickets. We will be leaving on Tuesday August 12 from Chicago, and our tentative return home date will be October 15th. Both of us will be in Colombia for the 9 weeks.

Where will we be staying? We are still trying to decide on this. We have been given the names of a few places and we are trying to decide which one will work the best.

Over the weekend, we completed the final touches to the boys' room. Eric built a few more organizers for the closet, and hung a few items on the walls, so the room is finished and just waiting for the boys! Although we weren't going to choose a theme, we tend to be buying a lot of things with the Disney "CARS" theme. What little boy doesn't like cars?

We are starting to pack our luggage as well. We already have the boys' clothes packed into a suitcase. We are hoping we can get everything packed within our luggage allowance.

We will be planning a trip to Chicago to get our VISA from the Colombian Consulate. We are just waiting for 1 more document from the Orphanage that is needed to get our VISA. We need a VISA, due to the length of time that we will be staying in Colombia. So, other than this, the only other paperwork that we need to complete, is our fingerprinting, and that is scheduled for next week. It seems like there should be more paperwork!!!!
